(Photo by Chinnawat Singha)PHITSANULOK -- A man died after he was seen to dash in front of a moving train near a railway crossing in Muang district on Monday morning. The incident occurred close to Sap Anan intersection on Mala Biang Road in tambon Nai Muang about 6.30 am. Investigators said he was hit by a train heading to Bangkok from Phitsanulok and dragged for more than 500 metre along the tracks. Pol Lt Prasong Kluabsopha, a railway police officer at Phitsanulok station, said the driver, Siam Sapboonmi, told him the train was about two kilometres from the station when a man walking along the track suddenly jumped in front of the engine. Pol Lt Prasong said it appeared the man committed suicide.
